Actually the string light is waterproof,and its Waterproof Rate is IP55 .But the power and controller is non-waterproof (we have noted this in the product description).So if you want to use the string light outdoor ,please put the controller into a waterproof box, or wrapped in plastic bags or waterproof tape.
